It's one of the farther pickups in our area — here's how we plan around it.
Rosenberg sits out toward the western edge of what most Houston airport services will cover, and IAH sits on the far north side of the metro. Put those two together and you get a genuine hour-plus drive on a normal day.
55-70 minutes is the honest range, mostly depending on how 59/69 is running through Sugar Land and Missouri City — that stretch is the bottleneck, not anything near Rosenberg itself or near the airport.
Given the length of the trip, we lean toward a slightly bigger cushion than we'd suggest for a closer-in pickup. For an 8am flight, we'd rather have you in the car by 5am than cutting it close hoping traffic cooperates.
If your airline flies out of Hobby instead, it's worth checking — for a lot of Rosenberg addresses it runs a bit shorter than the IAH drive, though it really does vary by exactly where you're starting.
