One of the quickest airport drives in Houston — but still worth booking properly.
Of all the routes we run, Downtown to Hobby is genuinely one of the shortest — 20-30 minutes via 45 South on a normal day, barely enough time to settle in before you're pulling up to the terminal.
Distance isn't really the reason people book here — it's the flat-rate pricing and reliability. A short trip during a surge window (early morning flights, event nights downtown) can still cost more with rideshare than our locked-in rate, and there's no risk of a last-minute cancellation.
Downtown has a lot of hotels, and we coordinate pickup directly from the lobby or designated pickup zone — just give us the hotel name when booking.
Given how short the drive is, 2-2.5 hours ahead of a domestic flight is usually plenty, though we'd still suggest checking Hobby's current security wait times if you're flying during a busy period.
